Letter: Kneeling disrespects those who served

To the Editor:

I have nothing against people kneeling to promote their cause. I do, however, as a veteran and a citizen of this great country, have a problem with those who choose not to stand for our flag and national anthem.

Those who kneel do a great disservice to those who served and gave the ultimate sacrifice defending our flag and what it stands for. I'd venture to say they have no idea what patriotism is about. If they did, they wouldn't dream of kneeling during the playing of our national anthem.

I would answer the call again to defend their right to do it, and then kick their butts right out of the stadium.
